Egyptian authorities, in collaboration with the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, have shut down Streameast, the largest illegal live sports streaming platform, and arrested two individuals linked to its operation. With 136 million monthly visits and access to various major sports events, the platform has been accused of siphoning value from the sports industry and has been linked to a significant money laundering operation. Many of its domains now redirect to legal content platforms, although some remain active.
