HSBC has launched its Tokenised Deposit Service (TDS) internationally, enabling corporate clients to conduct real-time, cross-border currency transactions with instant settlement using blockchain technology. The service expands from previous domestic implementations in Hong Kong and Singapore to include the UK and Luxembourg, enhancing liquidity management and treasury operations for businesses. TDS allows for customizable cash movements and supports emerging forms of digital money while integrating seamlessly with existing systems.
