Origin is rolling out its own code storage and Git hosting platform. They’re positioning it as a centralized spot where development teams and autonomous agents can keep repositories, run pull-request reviews and work together on code. Think of it as a lightweight GitHub or GitLab clone tailored to Origin’s workflow. The new service includes standard Git features—branching, merging, access controls—and adds integrations specific to Origin’s agent system. That means bots can automatically spin up review requests, run tests and flag issues without manual intervention. Teams will get fine-grained permissions so you decide who can push, approve or merge changes. It launches this fall. Origin’s already opened a waitlist for early access—no pricing details yet.
