Under the hood, live Claude artifacts tap into databases, spreadsheets or cloud warehouses, then generate tables, charts and narratives you can embed in apps or portals. You ask a question—say, “Show me last month’s sales by region”—and Claude fetches fresh numbers. It’s a shift from manual dashboard design toward conversational queries and dynamic visuals. But rolling this out at enterprise scale carries risks. Early versions reportedly dropped queries or timed out under heavy loads. And any system with live data hooks needs airtight security.
