Anthropic Labs just rolled out Claude Design, a tool that turns text prompts, uploads or website grabs into polished visual work—prototypes, slides, one-pagers and more—powered by their top vision model, Claude Opus 4.7. It’s in research preview for Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise subscribers, with gradual access throughout the day. Once you feed Claude your brand’s codebase or design files, it auto-generates a design system—colors, typography, components—and applies it across every project. You can kick things off with a prompt, an uploaded DOCX/PPTX/XLSX, images or even raw code, then refine via inline comments, direct edits or custom sliders. Teams are already using Claude Design for realistic interactive prototypes—no coding needed—product wireframes that hand off smoothly to Claude Code, and rapid design explorations. Founders and AEs can spin up full pitch decks on-brand, exportable to PPTX or Canva. Marketers sketch landing pages and campaign visuals, then loop in designers. Even advanced experiments—voice, video, shaders, 3D—come together without wrestling with multiple tools. Collaboration works through organization-scoped links: view-only, comment or full edit plus group chat with Claude. Exports cover internal URLs, folders, PDF, PPTX, standalone HTML or direct handoff bundles for Claude Code to turn designs into production-ready assets. In coming weeks, Anthropic plans open APIs so teams can plug Claude Design into existing workflows. Early feedback from Canva and Brilliant highlights speed and fidelity.
