Wednesday’s Dynamic Healing session runs May 8 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Eastern on Zoom. The group costs $10 to drop in and is led by Somatic Practitioner Elena Morales. She’ll guide participants through breath-focused exercises, gentle movement and self-regulation techniques drawn from polyvagal theory. You’ll learn to notice tension patterns in the body, track shifts in nervous-system states, and practice anchoring into safety.
Elena opens the meeting with a brief check-in—“Where are you right now, physically and emotionally?”—then leads a 20-minute grounding sequence: slow diaphragmatic breaths, micro-stretches for the neck and shoulders, followed by a guided visualization. Afterward, the group moves into peer-supported pairs for trauma-informed touch exercises (fully optional). You’ll take turns tracing your partner’s pulse points or providing light shoulder pressure while calling attention to sensations.
The second half shifts gears: a five-minute silence, then a movement jam set to ambient soundscapes. No dance skills required—Elena encourages “messy, playful gestures” to unlock stored stress. Finally, there’s a 15-minute debrief. She offers strategies for integrating the practice into daily life: setting small “check-in alarms,” journaling about physical shifts, or adding two minutes of breathwork before bed.
If you’re interested, RSVP by emailing dynamichealinggroup@gmail.com. The series runs Wednesdays through June; you can drop into any session independently. Organizers note space is capped at 12 to keep the atmosphere intimate, so sign up early.
